Athletic Sports 2023-2024

Welcome to the Mighty Blue Nation! Athletic Sports is an after-school program offered to all students. There are a variety of sports offered throughout the school year.

Students must complete and turn in the following three forms to participate in Athletic Sports.  Students may drop off the forms to Mrs. Williams in the gym or to the front office.  All forms must be turned in at least 24 hours prior to attending tryouts. 

• Athletics (Intramural) Waiver Form (one form for the 2023-2024 school year)
• District Extracurricular Activity Form (one form PER sport)
• FHSAA Physical Form (one form for the 2023-2024 school year completed by a medical personnel)

Sports Starting Dates:

• Basketball –August 15th
• Cross Country – September 5th
• Volleyball – October 17th
• Soccer – January 9th
• Track and Field – February 20th
• Golf – March 25th
• Tennis - March 25th

Tryouts

• Every student staying for tryouts MUST have all three required forms (FHSAA Physical Form, Athletic (Intramural) Waiver Form, and District Extracurricular Activity Form) completed and turned in to Mrs. Williams in the gym or the front office. Please turn the forms in at least 24 hours before attending intramurals. 
• Students will report to the gym at after school dismissal and change in the locker rooms
• Students should bring athletic clothes and proper shoes to participate
• Students may be outside for part of the tryouts so water bottles, sunscreen, and light colored shirts are recommended
• Students MUST have transportation home by 5:15pm. They can be picked up at parent pick up, bike/walk depending on weather, or ride the activity bus to the nearest school to your home.
